We work to bring broader awareness, understanding, and appreciation of our natural world through camera trapping.  Janet is focused on learning more about animal behavior by strategically placing trail cameras in “great animal spots.”  Bob is focused on understanding and improving camera trapping technology.  Our goal in this blog is to share everything we learn about animals animal behavior, and the techniques used to study them, and learn from others.  All this through candid, compelling, often dramatic photo and video footage and interpretation.

Janet is the author of Camera Trapping Guide: Tracks, Sign and Behavior of Eastern Wildlife (Stackpole Books, 2018), the world’s first camera trapping guide aimed at the amateur and professional naturalists and photographers.

We also lead walks and gives presentations for other groups such as local Audubon chapters, various wildlife conferences, land trusts, public libraries, etc. Contact us to inquire about her leading a walk or giving a talk for your organization or event. Note: We have relocated to northwestern Montana so for in person programs only in that area.
